Bilingual Website & CMS for a Paints Company
A bilingual Arabic and English website and CMS for a Riyadh decorative paints company — built alone, from requirements to production.
The problem
A decorative paints company in Riyadh had many products, brands and finished projects to show. The marketing team needed a website in Arabic and English that they could update themselves — without calling a developer for every new product or photo.
What I did
- Designed, built and deployed the whole system on my own: frontend, backend, database and admin panel.
- Built a custom admin panel on Voyager, so staff manage products, projects, brands, settings and media themselves.
- Added full Arabic and English support: language switching, right-to-left layout, and translatable content for every entity.
- Built the product catalogue, projects portfolio, brands showcase, contact forms and newsletter sign-up.
- Served images as WebP in responsive sizes, so pages load fast on slow connections.

The hard part: Two languages in every record, not two websites.
The easy way to make a bilingual site is to build it twice. Then every new product must be added twice, and the two versions slowly drift apart.
Instead, every product, project and brand stores its Arabic and English text side by side in the same record. Staff fill both in one form in the admin panel, and the site picks the right language — and the right direction, left-to-right or right-to-left — when the page loads.
Results
- 2 languages from one record: Arabic and English
- 0 developer calls to add a product
- WebP responsive images for slow connections
